Invenio Search Group was founded in 2006 by John Waslefsky to help SMB companies (10-500 employees) meet the demand for hiring permanent technology talent in the Phoenix, Tucson, Denver, and Salt Lake City markets.
The Invenio technology recruiting team is comprised of experienced recruiting professionals and former hiring managers with industry specific knowledge which allows us to recognize and evaluate top talent for our clients.

Meet The Executive Team
Technology Search Professional
John manages and is responsible for all business development/partnering and recruiting activities. He started his career in the Technology staffing industry in 1996 where held various titles including Recruiter, Business Development Manager, and Technology Recruiting Manager. His passion for the recruiting industry led to him starting Invenio Search Group in 2006. He has held true to his vision of serving the SMB market (companies with 10 – 500 employees) in the Phoenix, Tucson, Denver, and Salt Lake City markets and helping Invenio clients upgrade their technology teams at the mid-to-senior level.
John’s goal is to provide “best of class” service to Invenio clients and candidates and help them achieve their staffing and professional goals respectively. Bottom line, it’s about integrity and forming win-win partnerships.
John currently resides in Gilbert, AZ with his wife and two high schoolers who are always keeping things interesting. He was born in Atlantic City N.J. and grew up in Tucson, AZ. John attended Northern Arizona University a.k.a “The Harvard In the Pines” where he earned a Business Degree. John enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, golfing, and watching his beloved Arizona Cardinals, Diamondbacks, and UofA Wildcats!
As part of Invenio Search Group for the past several years, Heidi manages all the recruiting activities. Her primary focus is to partner with candidates to learn about their knowledge, skills, and abilities – as well as personality and goals. This information helps match their talents with a client to provide a needed skillset, while also helping them achieve the next step in their career path. She greatly enjoys seeing people excited about a new opportunity to showcase their technical skills!
She started her career at Motorola in the employment center, where she was introduced into the hiring process for full-time, part-time, temporary, contract, and internship positions, and what makes each role unique. A graduate of NAU’s Organizational Communication and Training program, she was happy to put her educational knowledge of organizational culture, interviewing, and vocational motivations to work.
Heidi is an Arizona native, and currently lives with her family in the northwest Phoenix area. She enjoys being with family and friends, watching her daughters participate in sports and music activities, traveling, reading, and halfheartedly trying to train a rescued dog who tends to be just a little too willful and smart.
